This first collection of 2022 is inspired by all the moments and reflections from the previous year. Having left the corporate design world to stay home with our boys, I struggled deeply with the loss of self. I felt like I was drowning in household chores and motherhood. Some days I rocked the stay at home mom life and other days was a complete mess. Painting became an escape and my primary form of self care.

It wasn’t until the fall of 2021 that I started to notice all the signs that the Universe was providing. This season has been full of transitions and learning experiences. I may not know exactly where I’m headed but I know that where I am is where I’m supposed to be. As I navigate motherhood and find pockets of time to create, I am welcoming the woman I am becoming. Through the use gold metallic paint, more light has been entering my work. I’m finding beauty in the storm.

This collection is a source of inspiration to those who dream to shine and to yearn to live in the light. I truly believe that we were all born with an abundance of love and hold so many unique gifts that we should share with the world. These paintings are for you.
