What's in Bloom?
May felt a whirlwind and went by in a blink, but I’m so glad that June is here. Everything is starting to bloom, the sun has been out and my family and I are soaking up our first Spring in our new home.
Our landscaping was overgrown when we moved in, so I’ve been getting my hands dirty in hopes of making it look more beautiful. Being a new gardener I’m enjoying the process of learning and growing.
This new season is inspiring my artwork, leading me to a new floral collection.
“Becoming”
I pressed pause to raise them.
Now they’re blooming—
my youngest soon to be off to kindergarten,
and I feel it—space opening,
not just in the day,
but in me.
For so long, I disappeared.
Now I paint to remember—
to gather the pieces I left behind.
This is not a return.
This is becoming.
And this time,
I won’t fade.
About the Collection
This new floral collection is rooted in the quiet transformation that comes from pruning back—both in the garden and in life.
Inspired by the season I’m in as a mother and artist, these paintings reflect themes of growth, becoming, and the beauty of rediscovering yourself after years of nurturing others.
With flowers in bloom, butterflies in motion, and a soft, intuitive painting style, this collection explores the tender space between who I’ve been and who I’m becoming—as my youngest prepares to start kindergarten and I step into a season of renewed creativity.
More details on a release date will be announced this summer, stay tuned!
