The Slow Season
November 16 - Jan 9 @ the Buffalo Botanical Gardens
In 2 weeks I will begin installing my second solo exhibit at The Buffalo Botanical Gardens Archangel Gallery. I am so incredibly excited and thankful for this opportunity, it’s a dream come true!
My exhibit, The Slow Season, is a collection of watercolor and acrylic paintings that I have created within the past two years upon the birth of our second son. After taking a pause on my corporate design job I shifted into a slower season of life to care for my family. During this time I underwent many emotions and felt a bit lost with a change in identity. As time carried on painting became more of a passion and evolved into deep personal meditation and a form of self care.
I always find peace and calm out in nature with sons and am deeply inspired by this season of life. Every day is different and there is always so much beauty even through the chaos and storms.
