Indian Summer - Hampton Bays
Summer has returned even though its technically now fall! After a rainy, cloudy August, September has been absolutely beautiful in Long Island. (Minus our little brush with Hurricane Jose.)
A couple weekends ago my husband, pup and I took a little day trip out to the Hamptons. Instead of finding inspiration on the beach, I found so much more beauty in the bay. All the colors of the grass, mixing with the sky, had me itching to create some marsh paintings. So here are my two newest pieces, Indian Summer & Hampton Bays.
I've really enjoyed creating these marsh paintings and still feel the itch to create more. I think I might try to incorporate some of the Long Island bridges into these as well. Stay posted!
