Week 10/25 - Purple

It's week 10/25 out of my art challenge. Through this whole process I've played around with watercolor and acrylics trying to further develop style. Through it all I've been drawn to florals, seascapes and words. All of it which is aimed to inspire, motivate and encourage others to live a beautiful and positive life. My newest 3"x3" painting this week is another tropical seascape. 

As a little girl the only colors I wanted to wear were pink + purple. Today my love for those colors is still true and is often found in my more feminine seascapes. These mini paintings brighten up any room and are perfect for office desks. Whenever you feel stressed at work they will take you away...

P.S. Here is a little behind the scenes of how I have to work each morning. I'm usually working, chasing Dax around  (he likes to steal my stuff), or snuggling and typing one handed. Not sure how this will work when he's 80 pounds. :-)
