This new collection is inspired by my postpartum journey with our second child. Becoming a Mom of 2, under 2, has been completely life-changing. As someone who yearns to have a creative career while being a great mother, I’m struggling with finding balance, especially during a pandemic. With no outlets or a social circle, my emotions have been high, leading to a feeling of rebirth. I’m watching my children grow and develop every day, as I grieve how life used to be. Painting is my meditation, a form of self-care while my children nap, these paintings are the beginning of something new. I hope that these new pieces provide you peace and calm as they do for me.
