Montauk Day Trip
Friday was a move slow, treat yourself, kind of day. The hubs and I started our morning at the Chiropractors and then we packed up the car for a mini road trip out to Montauk. We made a couple stops along the way at a local bagel shop for breakfast , the dog park in South Hampton, Tates Bake Shop and then finally we arrived at Camp Hero State Park.
This spot is my favorite on all of Long Island. The cliffs, rocks and the never ending views of the ocean, it's gorgeous. Whenever I am here, I feel so inspired and at peace. It was an added bonus this trip because we were able to see the lighthouse all lit up for the holidays. It was so pretty!
On a total side note, if you are one of the people who loves the Netflix show Stranger Things (I'm so guilty!) you'll want to do some research about Camp Hero State Park in Montauk. The story line for the show is based off of this place. The shoreline views are jaw dropping gorgeous, but if you venture around the park a little bit, you'll feel and experience a little bit of history.
Have you ever been to Montauk or Camp Hero? If so what did you think of it?
